St Andrews Uniting Church

Take a look at St Andrews Uniting Church, a heritage-listed church building in central Bundaberg. Its story reflects several chapters of religious history, from Presbyterian beginnings to its present operation as a Seventh-day Adventist Church. The church was established in 1931 as a Presbyterian church. In 1977, it became a Uniting church, and since 2004 it has operated as a Seventh-day Adventist Church. The building was designed by Lange Leopold Powell and constructed between 1931 and around 1940. It stands at the corner of Maryborough and Woongarra Streets, and was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 3 August 2004.
