Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These terms apply to the Neywo website (neywo.com), the web app (app.neywo.com) and the Neywo apps for iOS and Android (together, "Neywo"). Neywo is provided by Marcos Rodríguez Regueira, trading as Neywo, whose details are in the legal notice. By creating an account you accept these terms; you can use the website and listen to the guides without one.

1. What Neywo is

Neywo is a self-guided audio guide: narrated stories about places, maps and walking routes that you listen to on your own, at your own pace. Neywo is currently free. If paid features are ever offered, their price and conditions will be shown clearly before you buy anything, and nothing will be charged without your express agreement.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
  • Give a real email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • An account is for one person.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete account); see the account deletion page.

3. What you add to Neywo

You can add a profile (display name, avatar, bio, home city), build your own walks, host group walks and send us bug reports and ideas. What you add remains yours. You allow us to store it and show it as far as needed to run Neywo — for example, showing your display name to the people who join a group walk you host. Do not add anything that is unlawful, offensive, infringes someone else's rights, or impersonates another person. We may remove content that breaks these terms. Ideas and bug reports you send us may be used to improve Neywo, without any obligation towards you.

4. Acceptable use

Use Neywo for its purpose: discovering places. In particular, do not:

  • copy, download in bulk, redistribute or resell the narration, texts or other content, or access it by automated means;
  • try to get around the service's security, access other people's data, or overload the service;
  • reverse engineer the apps, except where the law expressly allows it.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, telling you why unless the law prevents it.

5. Who owns the content

The narration, texts, recordings, design and software of Neywo belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them personally, through Neywo, while you use the service. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, and photographs from Wikimedia Commons are used under the licences stated for each one.

6. Safety while walking

Neywo is meant to be used on foot, by bike or on public transport. Stay aware of your surroundings and of traffic, follow local rules and signs, and never interact with the app when it would be unsafe. Routes are suggestions: check that a path is open, accessible and safe for you before following it. Places, opening hours and other practical details change; we try to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee it. Location readings from a phone can be imprecise.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Neywo available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features and content. If we ever stop providing Neywo, we will tell account holders in advance whenever possible.

8. Liability

We are liable in accordance with the law for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise, as Neywo is provided free of charge, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the consequences of how the information is used. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer protection law gives you.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top will change with them. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can delete your account.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may take any dispute to the courts of your place of residence. Before that, write to contact@neywo.com: most things can be solved by email.

11. Contact

General questions: contact@neywo.com. Anything about your personal data: privacy@neywo.com, and see the privacy policy.
