How to delete your account in Neywo, the audio guide app by Marcos RodrÃguez Regueira (Neywo), and what happens to your data.
In the app or the web app
- Open Neywo on your phone, or go to app.neywo.com, and sign in.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The account is deleted immediately. There is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.
Without the app
Email privacy@neywo.com from the email address on the account, asking us to delete it. We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address and password.
- Your profile: display name, avatar, bio and home city.
- Your settings.
- Your walk history, favourites and the walks you built.
- The group walks you host.
What is kept
Bug reports and ideas you sent stay, with no link to you or your account, until the problem they describe is dealt with. If you gave a reply email address in a report, ask us and we will delete that report too. Nothing else is kept.
Data stored only on your device (language, theme, a cached forecast) is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
