The museum also claimed “Cigar” Daisy as its resident carver. It was located at 7059 Maddox Boulevard in Chincoteague. After its owner died, the museum announced on May 4, 2013, that it would close and sell its assets. Although it is no longer an open attraction, its story remains part of Chincoteague’s cultural record and documents the waterfowl-carving traditions of the area.
