John C. Page Park

John C. Page Park is a green open space in Coconino County, very close to the city of Page. It stands in a sparsely populated setting dominated by grassland, offering a simple contrast to the surrounding open desert landscape.

Jack Doland Field

Jack Doland Field is another park near Page, set among grassland and gently rolling terrain. The landscape becomes hillier toward the southwest, while the northeast is flatter. Valleys and hollows add variety to the broad, open scenery around the park.

Manson Mesa

Manson Mesa is a broad elevated landform a short distance from Page. Its summit stands at about 1,335 metres above sea level, around 80 metres above the surrounding terrain. With a base approximately 3.5 kilometres wide, the mesa is a substantial feature in the otherwise open landscape of Coconino County.

Page Municipal Airport

Page Municipal Airport is a public-use airport serving Page and the surrounding area. Located about 1.6 kilometres from the city, it provides scheduled passenger service and regular sightseeing flights. The airport sits at an elevation of about 1,299 metres, with grassland, hills and shallow valleys extending across the nearby terrain.

Page High School

Page High School is a local school serving the community as part of the Page Unified School District. It has been serving students since 1959, making it part of the city’s modern history and everyday life.

KPGE

KPGE is a country music radio station licensed to Page and broadcasting on 1340 AM. Its history includes an interruption in service in 2022, followed by a return to the air after Southwest Broadcasting acquired the station and its sister station, KXAZ, in 2023. Two earlier stations also used the KPGE name on the same frequency during the 1960s.

U.S. Route 89 in Arizona

U.S. Route 89 is one of the main roads through northern Arizona, connecting Flagstaff with the Utah border northwest of Page. It was among the first U.S. highways established in Arizona, with the original Arizona route created between November 11, 1926, and September 9, 1927.

The highway once ran from the international border at Nogales through Tucson, Phoenix, Prescott and Flagstaff. That southern routing lasted until 1992; parts of the former route are now designated as State Route 79 and State Route 89.
