Église Notre Dame de l’Assomption d’Èze

This neoclassical church from the 18th century is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and has been listed as a French historical monument since December 5, 1984.

Oppidum du Castellar

At the summit of Mont Bastide lies the Oppidum du Castellar, an ancient Ligurian hilltop settlement that offers a glimpse into life before the Roman era. Its elevated position provided sweeping views over the Mediterranean landscape.

Château d’Èze

The ruined Château d’Èze sits high above the village; although little remains, its hilltop location reveals the strategic importance of this medieval stronghold.

Fort Revère

Built between 1882 and 1885, Fort Revère is a 19th‑century French fortification at 696 metres above sea level within the Parc de la Grande Corniche. From here it overlooks a coastal ridge stretching from Italy to the Massif de l’Esterel and was known as Fort Anselme until 1886.

Mont Bastide

Mont Bastide is a mountain in southeastern France, about 700 kilometres southeast of Paris, rising 566 metres above sea level. The surrounding terrain is mostly mountainous, with the southern side flattening out toward the sea, where bays and coves dot the coast. The nearest major town is Nice, just 7.3 kilometres to the east, and Mont Agel, a taller peak at 1,148 metres, lies roughly the same distance to the southeast.

Jardin botanique d’Èze

Also known as the Jardin exotique d’Èze, this botanical garden sits on steep terrain high above the Mediterranean. It is famed for its collection of cacti and succulents from the Mediterranean region, Africa and the Americas, and offers panoramic views of the coastline from its 400‑metre elevation. Created after World War II on the ruins of a château, the garden was shaped by mayor André Gianton, Jean Gastaud from the Jardin Exotique de Monaco, and later redesigned by landscape architect Jean Mus in the winter of 2003‑2004.

Église Saint-Joseph

This modest church is nestled in the Alpes‑Maritimes region, offering a quiet presence as you walk through the village.

Église Saint-Laurent

Similarly, the Église Saint-Laurent provides a tranquil spot in the Alpes‑Maritimes countryside.
